Barnacre and The Granary are adjacent properties available for Bed and Breakfast and self catering accommodation.

Barnacre is a single storey building with all spacious rooms on the ground floor it is therefore perfect for our less mobile guests.

We welcome families and have excellent family friendly rooms.

Barnacre was originally built around 1750 as a block of stables barns and a granary for Longhirst Farm, and has now been converted into a comfortable family home. A cooked English breakfast is served but most diets can be catered for provided that we are given prior notice. You are guaranteed a very warm and friendly welcome at Barnacre along with a homely and relaxing atmosphere.

Barnacre is located in the centre of picturesque Longhirst conservation village. Situated in one acre of grounds, hence its name. We are in walking distance of Longhirst Hall Hotel with its many facilities including bars, restaurants, golf, tennis and woodland walks. Longhirst is surrounded by beautiful countryside with many bridleways and footpaths.

To the rear is The Granary which is only let to one party at a time, thereby ensuring that guests always have private bathroom facilities and the sole use of the downstairs sitting room. Facilities include 3 bedrooms, one with 4 poster bed, bunk bed room, and double room.

We have off road parking and secure cycle/small trailer storage. Pets welcome by arrangement.
